Fifteen full members
The plenary brings together five national institutions and ten territorial representatives: one departmental and one municipal voice for each corridor, chosen by the territorial roundtables themselves. This composition ensures balanced representation of destinations, large and small, while keeping a size suited to deliberation.

The Roundtable receives external advisory support from the World Network of Religious Tourism – Tourism and Society Think Tank, which contributes international expertise and technical support.
Five priority corridors
Each corridor has one departmental and one municipal voice on the Roundtable. The Southwest and the Altiplano are the 2027 pilot corridors.
Destinations and their communities
Tourist destinations and the communities that live in them are at the heart of the Roundtable's work. For this reason, whenever possible, its sessions are held in the corridors themselves.

The voice of shrines and confraternities
Alongside the Episcopal Conference of Colombia, the Roundtable includes shrine rectors and confraternities, such as the Junta Permanente Pro-Semana Santa of Popayán, as permanent guests. Their first-hand knowledge of welcoming pilgrims and visitors enriches the deliberations and ensures that this experience feeds directly into decision-making.
